Create a strategy for Tailor on Tap, a luxury custom suit company in Washington, D.C., to sell to high-net-worth individuals.
To advise the CEO, I did market research on the industry both online and through customer interviews. My research revealed markets that ToT could serve better than their competitors. ToT is currently implementing parts of this strategy.
One of the benefits of the customer interviews was that I could see the product and brand through their eyes. Insights from those interviews allowed me to design sales collateral that matched what the customers liked most about ToT’s products. After identifying target markets, I designed template collateral and tweaked certain aspects to make it look personalized to the industry that the target customer works in. These documents are currently being used by the business development team.
On occasion, I was asked to help create content for the company’s Instagram. I was able to leverage the Adobe Suite to make the images the showroom staff took pop more than they did before editing. I also used the information I learned in the customer interviews to inspire posts. Multiple customers reported that it was the details that made Tailor on Tap stand out over competitors. I used this in my posts, and the Tailor on Tap social team still uses this insight today.
